Arrivals into Prague on Thursday, 15th March 2012. ISTA will coordinate two times in the day when transport is provided for the journey to Terezin. Most likely one around lunchtime and then one in the evening.

Return bus trips to Prague will be organised based on the departure times of the schools involved. The trip takes around an hour and a half.

For ISTA staff:

Please don't start looking into flights until you have received your 'activation' email from Jo. This will be approximately twelve weeks prior to the event.

For visiting teachers:

All schools are required to attend the whole of the event. Please bear this in mind when making your travel arrangements.

Please note it is the responsibility of each event participant, including ISTA staff, to ensure they have arranged their own visas, as required. This is best done by contacting the relevant embassy, high commission or consulate in your country of origin to establish visa requirements and in particular visa procedures. Always allow yourself plenty of time to organize visas when required.

ACCOMMODATION:

All participants will stay in one of two hotels/hostels in the town of Terezin.

ISTA reserves rooms for the visiting students, teachers and ISTA staff. Accommodation will be invoiced with the registration fees.

For students:

Accommodation and meals for the students (as they are not hosted for this festival) is £140.00, based on hostel accommodation for 4 nights bed and breakfast, and lunch and dinner for 3 days. ISTA will invoice you for this upon registration.

Students will be required to share rooms due to a shortage of hotel rooms in Terezin.

For teachers:

Accommodation and meals for the teachers is £160.00, based on hostel accommodation for 4 nights bed and breakfast, and lunch and dinner for 3 days. ISTA will invoice you for this upon registration. Please note that the teachers may need to share rooms, depending on availability, although we will do our best to ensure that adults have single room accommodation where possible.
