ISTA artists
Please note: travel days are 28th November and 3rd December 2012, respectively. Please don't start looking into flights until you have received your 'activation' email from Jo. This will be approximately twelve weeks prior to the event.
Visiting teachers
Please note: travel days are 29th November (arrive by 7.00PM) and 3rd December 2012, respectively. All schools are required to attend the whole of the event. Please bear this in mind when making your travel arrangements. Please note it is the responsibility of each event participant, including ISTA artists, to ensure they have arranged their own visas, as required. This is best done by contacting the relevant embassy, high commission or consulate in your country of origin to establish visa requirements and in particular visa procedures. Always allow yourself plenty of time to organise visas. |
| ACCOMMODATION: |
Details on hotel accommodation and length of journey from the hotel to school, for teachers and ISTA artists, will be confirmed shortly. Usually ISTA reserves hotel rooms for visiting teachers and we work on approximately £90.00 per night, per person. Actual costs may be slightly higher or lower. Unless stated otherwise students will be hosted with families from the host school. Students will be hosted for four nights from 29th November - 2nd December. For more details on our housing policy please refer to the relevant section of Festivals: The visiting teacher handbook. |
