Scene

Scene is our professional quarterly journal. In Scene we aim to provide articles that interest and challenge Drama/Theatre teachers internationally. We also aim to include articles, projects and ideas that act as a valuable resource for teachers.
Contributions come from teachers, practitioners and artists from ISTA and the wider international theatre community.

In recent issues we have focused on:

  • Collaboration
  • Production ideas from ISTA member school teachers
  • Writing for theatre
  • Models of practice
  • Movement and Dance
  • Arts in Education

Each issue takes on a different focus and a balance is sought between looking into ISTA and the work that is happening within our community and looking out from ISTA into the wider artistic community.

Scene is sent to all School/Organisation and Individual members as part of your membership package.

Alternatively you can take out a subscription to Scene @ £50.00 plus post and packaging for one year (4 issues). If you are interested in this please contact Jo Webb on jow@ista.co.uk

"Most importantly I've come away inspired by theatre, art, dance - and the general concept that different styles, cultures, people are inexorably connected - and the purpose of building those bridges."
