Festivals

Festivals are hosted primarily by member school communities; although we are piloting new festival models which take place at places such as the Eden Project (Cornwall, UK) and Terezin (the former concentration camp in the Czech Republic).

Festivals are produced for a variety of age ranges - see descriptors on the attachment below.

Festivals bring together people from different countries in particular settings. All participants work intensively together within a collaborative framework through a chosen focus.

Festivals provide a unique synthesis of three areas of learning:

  • Theatre practice
  • Internationalism
  • Creative learning

At all festivals attending teachers are invited to join our programme of Teacher Workshops.

Full details of current Festivals can be found on our Calendar page.
