Teachers
We are an organisation for teachers, run by teachers. As such we have a very clear picture of the needs of Drama/Theatre teachers within an international context.
We have a far-reaching Teacher Enrichment Programme that offers workshop opportunities and further experiences (such as teacher exchanges, visits, residencies etc). In addition we have a growing number of resources available for teachers including publications and a quarterly journal.
To make the most of ISTA we encourage teachers to become members. Of course as a non-member you are eligible to attend any of our TAPS workshops but to gain the most from our community we invite you to be a member.
In recent years we have developed a new category of membership - Individual Membership. Much cheaper than School/Organisation membership (at £80.00 per year) it allows you to have access to all our events and resources. This is a route many teachers take before getting the full go ahead from their school to become School/Organisation members.
